From as early as the twenties, Haghefilm Conservation has closely followed all changes in film technology. At Haghefilm, the latest digital sound and image facilities go hand in hand with the expertise in analogue film processing, printing techniques and film restoration.
Haghefilm offers a wide array of state-of-the-art possibilities that make up one of the Benelux' most complete restoration and digital intermediate facilities in one single location. All this comes with a pleasant atmosphere and personal approach. Numerous well-established national and international audiovisual archives, museums and other collection institutes as well as private individuals have found their way to Haghefilm.
Preservation and restoration methods include wet and dry analogue and digital procedures. Haghefilm Conservation B.V. can handle most film formats, ranging from very standard gauges such as 16mm and 35mm, but also specialises in more rare gauges such as 28mm or 9,5mm. Rerecording of (nitrate and acetate) soundtracks, preservation of magnetic soundtracks and digital sound restoration complete the full image and sound preservation and restoration package.
